charles bridge room 104

Charles Bridge. My cameras need large exposure times, exposure can sometimes last for hours. I always say that my cameras don’t care much about people, only buildings and landscapes are registered. It’s a metaphor of the human being: We are just passengers.

charles bridge prague

Charles Bridge, named after King Charles IV, is the oldest and most famous bridge in Prague. It was created to connect the medieval city with the castle, being the only bridge at that time (15th century). It is protected by 3 towers. The tower located at the head of the old town is considered by many as one of the most impressive Gothic  buildings in the world.

This photograph of Charles Bridge is part of Project 57, the artistic project that we make from the BoHo Hotel to show new corners and new perspectives of Prague. You can find it in a large-scale format in room 104 of our hotel.
