Prague, the capital of Czech Republic is one of the most exciting small cities in Europe. Its fantastic location, in the middle of the continent, and its culture and tradition make this city one of the greatest destination to spend some days on holidays.

Charles Bridge

Being the most emblematic point of interest of Prague, represents the most romantic sights of the city, from where we can enjoy spectacular views of Prague Castle, Vltava River and the fantastic landscape of the old town.

It is always crowded because is a must view in Prague, but if you go on the afternoon, just when the sun goes down, the views are amazing and the color of the city from there will not let you impassive.

Old Town Hall Tower and Prague Astronomical Clock

It has been ringing every hour for over 600 years, reflecting the brilliance of this engineering created by one watchmaker and one mathematician in 1410.

It has been icon of different films and is a highlight of Old Town in Prague. It is capable to revels different times, since the Babylonian to the Old Bohemian and the German. It can show different phases of the moon and the sunrise and sunset hour.

Every hour the 12 Apostles do a procession while the bells of the clock are ringing and it is something you cannot miss in your visit in Prague, nor the spectacular view that you can get when you climb to the tower, open to the public until 22.00 hours.

Dancing House

I have about 500 shots of the Dancing House in Prague from every possible angle, portrait and landscape. They've been sitting on my disk for almost 2 years. I didn't know how to process them as the light was not great and an early attempt using Photomatix was a disaster. ISO 100, 14mm, f6.3, (1/1600, 1/400, 1/100 secs). I chose the f-stop so that I would get fast enough speed for the moving cars. Blended and tonmeppaed in Photomatix using Details Enhancer. Reduced noise in Imagenomics Noiseware. Carefully straightened the vertilcals using the Lens Correction filter in PS as the whole point if the building is it's vertical lines. Used the Freaky Details technique to get lots of details on the windows, etc. Used Nik Viveza to reduce the white glow around the building that was left over from Photomatix processing (masking the clouds). Used 15% Nik Glamour Glow to reduce the harshness of the Photomatix and Freaky Details.

Prague is famous for its mixture of architectural styles: Baroque, Romanesque, Rococo, Gothic and Renaissance; but the building Dancing House, alongside the river, contrasts this architectonical tradition.

The building, created by architects Frank Gehry and Valdo Milunic is the representation of a female dancer swaying in the arms of her partner and its interior is used for privates offices and an exceptional restaurant on the top of the building, in the 7th floor, The Celeste, which is open to the public and highly recommended if you like French cuisine.

Mala Strana

Mala Strana (the Small City) is one of the most oldest and historical districts of Prague. It was founded in 1257 at the food of the Castle, at the end of the Charles Bridge.

Inside of this district you can find different buildings, all of them in a Baroque style, and the most predominant is St.Nicholas Church, completely different to the St. Nicholas Church in Old Town.

This district is plenty of palaces, small churches, green parks and gardens so take our time to visit this neighborhood, it worth it!

All this point of interest in Prague are very close to the Hotel BoHo, from where you can visit the most interesting points just walking thought the city and enjoying its atmosphere, culture, tradition and architecture full of interest for all visitors.
